Eurobin Falls in Mount Buffalo National Park

The forecast predicted a 90% chance of rain, on Thursday 29 January 2021.

It rained all day as a consequence we were the only ones hiking to the top of the waterfall.

The view was spectacular normally the water flow is but a trickle but today we were well rewarded for our efforts.

Halfway up the waterfall

At the top of the waterfall

The very wet climb down to the bottom again. And managing the camera was not an easy task.

By the time we got back to our holiday camp we were wet through to the skin
It is a girls weekend that we will remember for a long time into the future.

  1. That is some waterfall...as is the long stairway to the top. Kudos to you all for making the climb in the rain and being rewarded with a spectacular view and priceless family memories!

  2. SOME people go to extremes to get a matching prompt picture! :) Great pix and quite a waterfall or series of waterfalls, actually. As Molly says - kudos to you for the effort and adventure and in the rain, no less! Well done!

  3. The long wet hike up and down was clearly worth it, when we see your photographs.

  4. Goodness, you all did that hike just in time to post to Sepia Saturday's prompt. I hope you enjoyed yourselves...it does look as if you had to work to get to the top, and not slip on the way down!

  5. You all are braver and more adventurous than I am! Afraid I would have stayed inside. Great pictures!
