This month's theme is John Bassett of Madron, baptised on 5 September 1790 in St Madern Church of England, Madron, Cornwall.
John is my 3rd great grandfather; he arrived in Australia in 1861. I have written about him before in the following post - Two John Bassetts – Barking up the wrong tree published in 2013.
